A One Tree Hill Dream Proposal

Carlos came to me with a plan: propose to hit girlfriend, Lexie, on the iconic One Tree Hill bridge and make it her dream surprise proposal. It’s probably safe to say we nailed it and she was absolutely not expecting it. 

He told me right from the start this is her all time favorite show and they wanted to hit the most famous spots from the show in their session. 

With my proposal package I offer an hour of photos. This was the perfect amount of time to start at the bridge and move to downtown. 

Okay, don’t be mad at me, but i’ve never actually seen One Tree Hill. I know, I know, shame on me. I will say, I have done enough One Tree Hill inspired photoshoots around Downtown Wilmington that I do really have a grip on where everyone's favorite spots from the show are. 

Of course, we had to shoot at the Iconic One Tree Hill table on the Cape Fear Riverwalk. Believe it or not, since there was a OTH convention in town we actually had to wait our turn to take photos here since there were so many show fans in town. From there we hit Blue Post Bar, the Riverwalk, and some gorgeous brick and cobblestone roads that you can find all over downtown Wilmington. We ended our time together at Arrive Hotel. They have a gorgeous courtyard that also offered us some shade from the sun. 

I do want to note, because of their busy schedule on their trip here we had to do this session mid-day. I share this only to note you may have noticed the photos do have a different coloring than my usual, strictly because they were taken in more harsh daylight. Hopefully this session shows you to not worry if we have to do a session before golden hour.
